Rudy's ~ The Worst Barbecue in Texas!

This restaurant if famous for barbecuing meats!
You order at the counter and the food and wrapped in wax papers - eat with your fingers!
We left the CinnaMan Villa in the early evening and expected to get on the freeway and make a quick dash to the restaurant. Little did we realize President Obama was using the same freeway. There were over 100 police cars along the way, blocking all the entrances to the overpasses to ensure a safe passage for the President. We had a great dinner, lean brisket, pork ribs, German sausage and a great cold slaw! Coming back the entrances were still blocked so we had to drive a mile out of our way to get to an underpass to get to the other side of the freeway and home!
Interestingly two weeks before I was picked up by friends at six p.m. to drive to our season tickets 42nd Street Moon theatre. It usually takes us 15 minutes to get to the theatre. Well we got a block away and a huge traffic jam. It took us almost 50 minutes to go the same route and all because...... President Obama was in town on Nob Hill having a fund raising dinner. So I got caught in two traffic jams, one in San Francisco and one in Austin Texas because of Obama's fund raising dinners! Go figure!
