Saturday evening we flew into Reno and went to our room on the 31st floor.  Then we decided to go out for a drink and have a light meal before our early Sunday morning wake up call to go ballooning or gliding over Lake Tahoe.

We sat down and ordered a bottle of champagne and the waitress came back and said the bartender wanted to make sure the bottle was cold and gave us complimentary glasses of champagne.

Then the waitress came back with a bottle and put a towel over the cork and proceeded to twist and twist for several minutes.  We wondered when was the last time she opened a bottle.

Suddenly there was a tremendous POP and the waitress had a strange look on her face.  We waited, she stood there, finally I asked what was wrong.  She said the cork some how flew out of her hands and landed someplace. She was worried and walked around the tables asking if anyone had been hit on the head by a flying cork!  We had a good laugh.  We said it probably landed some where in the gambling pit so not to worry.

Viviane informed me we had started out our long weekend on an amusing note.  Something always happens on our trips!
