My sister, Yvonne, was retired and living in Tucson Arizona. She had always wanted to visit Yosemity and decided to do a holiday with her favorite brother in San Francisco. I bought us a two day trip, we were picked up at a local hotel a block away! The weather was great and after the two day tour, we went around the City and then visited some of my friends that my sister also knew!

Yosemite National Park is in California's Sierra Nevada mountains. It's famed for its giant, ancient sequoia trees, and for Tunnel View, the iconic vista of towering Bridalveil Fall and the granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome. In Yosemite Village are shops, restaurants, lodging, the Yosemite Museum and the Ansel Adams Gallery, with prints of the photographer's renowned black-and-white landscapes of the area.

We saw reindeer and then the only bear during our drives! Our driver saw this one and it looked like a speck. He had good eyes! I took a few photos with my telephoto lenses and figured there wasn't anything in the photos. Low and behold, was I surprised, I checked out the photos and this is what I saw! Not too bad from a thousand feet away and a small camera!
