I don't buy too many things while traveling now as I have so many things in my apartment. I collect boxes from around the world and in Istanbul, I bought two made by the locals, wood with inlaid mother of pearl. Also candy for some of my friends, strawberry jam for my neighbor, Viviane, who waters my plants, a T-Shirt for my favorite sister, she loves these shirts from around the world. And spices bought at the Egyptian Spice Market for a friend who loves to cook. And finally the refrigerator magnet that is the eye that keeps the evil or negative forces at bay. That is on my refrigerator right now, we shall see if it works!
