Fox Plaza Apartments - Charles Buntjer Poll Worker
I live two blocks away from San Francisco City Hall and went to a class for poll workers. It was a two hour class and then I called the 800 number and asked if they could place me at the voting precinct in my neighborhood. They said they would try to place me there. Can you believe it, the polling place is in the lobby of my apartment building, Fox Plaza Apartment. I live on the 28th floor so not a long commute!

Poll Worker's Stipend Check
I live at the Fox Plaza Apartments and the last election had voting booths installed in the lobby of my building in the exercise room. I called the Department of Elections and asked if I could be assigned to that location. I live on the 28th floor and it would be a fast commute to the assigned location by elevator! I received a letter confirming I was selected to work at that location! Here is a view of the City from my apartment!
I received my letter of notification that I should be at the polling booth by six a.m. and if problems, call immedately so they are decide what to do as far as filling the position if necessary!
IMPORTANT: All clerks must offer the accessible touchscreen/audio ballot in addition to stabdard paper ballots.
IF LISTED, check roster notes columns:
Thank you!
I received an email the next day informing me I was eligible for the payment due me for signing up to be a Poll Worker! I was there most of the time from six a.m. until 9:30 p.m. - over 14 hours! We did have breaks and sometimes it was slow. Noon and especially the evening shift had the most voters.
