Obituary:  Faye 'Fannie' Margaret Copoulos (Rena J. Buss, John Buntjer), 90, of Freeport Manor Nursing Center, formerly living with her daughter, Nancy, at 1407 Mark Drive, died Thursday, September 23, 1993 at the nursing facility.  She and her husband operated the Perfection Cleaners in Freeport Illinois for many years.  She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church. She was born on March 14, 1903 in Forreston; she was a daughter of John and Reina (Buss) Buntjer. She married George Copoulos on June 23, 1934.  He died on March 30, 1962. In addition to her husband, five brothers and two sisters proceeded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Monday at Grace Episcopal Church with the Reverend Donald McALister officiating.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial fund has been established for Grace Episcopal Church.

Surviving is one daughter,

• Nancy (Gary) Bender of Freeport

• Donald Copoulos of Scottsdale Arizona

• Also two granddaughters, Melissa and Ashlie Copoulos of Freeport;

• one step-grandson, Gary Bender Junior of Freeport:

• one step-great-granddaughter, Amber Bender of California;

• and several nieces and nephews.

George Coupoulos, married Faye Buntjer on June 23, 1934, he is the son of James Coupoulos and Helene (Unknown). He was born April 23, 1897 in Athens, Greece, and died March 30, 1962 in Madison, Dane, Wisconsin, USA and buried at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Freeport, Stephenson, Illinois.
