Asian Art Museum News Letter Email
I received an email from the Asian Art Museum on March 19, 2025. It was from the Membership
Department and a News Letter sent to me by Richard. I responded to the email and indicated I have been with the museum since it was in the Golden Gate Park and part of the De Young Museum.
After the 1989 earthquake that damaged the De Young Museum, the Asian Art Museum looked for another location, finally ending up at the Civic Center and in the updated old Main Library.
I also sent him a link to my webpage when the museum honored me with a full page spread and photo of being such a long time member! Richard was excited and said he was sending everyone in the museum my link for all to see!
The other day I got my mail and there was a package for me from the Asian Art Museum. Strange I thought, it was in a large brown envelope. What a surprise. Check out what was in the package!
Asian Art Museum Photo Shoot - October 30, 2013
Here I am being featured in the Asian Art Museum monthly magazine in 2013. The official photographer for the museum took me to the basement and gave me a tour. They were cleaning up old artifacts, restoring them. I also got the photo shoot in his private office space.

Asian Art Museum Appreciation Card - March 30, 2025
I opened my mailbox and there was a package for me from the Asian Art Museum. I wondered why I was receiving a package from the museum. I opened the package and inside was a letter and a gift from the museum. The card of appreciation was signed by many of the employees of the museum.
